CELADON GLAZED STONEWARE : All of the products we carry are stoneware. They are manufactured using local handicraft technique and from a special kind of clay which is able to withstand a temperature of 1300? c in the kiln. The clay we use can be divided into two main categories - rough clay and fine clay. Rough clay is normally used for making rough products such as planters and undergoes only one firing process at a temperature of 1300? c. Fine clay, on the other hand, is used in making finer products such as vases, bowls, plates, mugs, etc. However, this use of clay requires two firing processes.
